The parameters under Drive defines the power supply. Battery, DC/DC converter or AC/DC converter – all are simulated using the two parameters DC resistance (ESR) and inductance (ESL). Enter resistance in mili-ohm and inductance in nano Henry (nH).
To determine the right values to use for resistance and inductance, consider doing a test measurement of the actual power supply circuit.

Hi,
What could be the best way to estimate Driver(dc-dc buck converter) ESR and ESL? It’s hard to get simulator models for dc-dc chips. Can you do good estimation from switching frequency, used inductor and output caps?
Measure (maybe using an eval board) with a load you can sweep over frequency. Then approximate the resulting impedance vs frequency curve with |ESR || jwESL|.
